FAQ’s
We have a pop-up Paddle Boarding hire shop on Fishery Creek Touring Park, Hayling Island, PO11 9NR. It’s a pleasant and sheltered location along with access to many other creeks and scenic bays around the island. The campsite welcomes off-site guests to launch their paddleboards or hire with us. They just ask for all guests to sign in at reception and they may charge £5 to use their slipway access.
The prices from us are £25 to hire a single board, £40 for two, then increments of £20 per board after that. We also have a limited number of Kayaks that are also available to hire, starting from £35 for a 1 or 2 person. Please note for insurance restrictions we can only offer rental of boards and kayaks in the creek itself, unless we accompany you on pre-arranged tour outside of the creek.
The creek is Tidal, so we are limited to launching around 2 hours either side of the high tide; high tides are posted on our social pages and linked below. We are normally on-site ready to hire from around 2-3 hours before. We also have new and ex demo boards and accessories for sale.
The price includes an optional safety briefing on land depending on group numbers, then on water assistance varies depending on individuals needs etc. If required we have a limited number of wetsuits (shorty ones), buoyancy aids and quick release safety belts. We have a limited numbers of boards and prefer if people can confirm their attendance so we can reserve them ready. All children 16 and under must be always accompanied by a responsible adult on the water.
